Empleo de alta cualificación en EYCA

La EUROPEAN YOUTH CARD ASOCIATION (EYCA) www.eyca.org , organismo que gestiona el Carné Joven Europeo, abre proceso selectivo para el puesto de director/a.

La convocatoria incluye como requisitos una alta cualificación, con conocimiento de idiomas, y experiencia en alta dirección de OIG o de ONG:

Serían estos:

• Experiencia alta dirección de una organización internacional (por ejemplo una ONG/OIG)

• Experiencia de trabajo en o para una Asociación

• Experiencia en el desarrollo de planes estratégicos y de posicionamiento

• Ejecución y seguimiento de programas presupuestarios

• Conocimiento y experiencia de los programas europeos de financiación y desarrollo de los recursos corporativos

• Trabajar con una junta directiva o consejo de administración

• Experiencia en asuntos jurídicos y negociaciones de contrato (comercial/no comercial)

• Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y gestionar múltiples tareas

• Excelentes habilidades de organización

• Excelente Inglés y conocimientos de una segunda lengua europea.

Si aun te parece poco, también son deseables los siguientes requisitos:

• Un título universitario en un campo relacionado.

• Una buena comprensión del sector europeo de la juventud, incluyendo Instituciones Europeas como la UE, la Comisión Europea y el Consejo de Europa

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y experiencia y capacidad para trabajar en un entorno multinacional y multicultural

• Disposición para viajar – aproximadamente el 25% del tiempo de trabajo

POST OF DIRECTOR
European Youth Card Association (EYCA) is an association of forty member organisations in thirty-eight countries across Europe. EYCA vision is:
• A Europe where all young people are mobile and active.

The EYCA mission is:
Member organisations working together to stimulate more young people to be socially, culturally, educationally and economically mobile by:
• delivering quality European Youth Card services
• contributing to better policy on youth mobility and active citizenship

EYCA achieves its mission by behaving in the following ways:
• Youth-oriented – by generating, disseminating and using knowledge of young people and continuously focusing all EYCA activities on young people

EYCA is advertising the post of Director based in the EYCA office in Brussels to start as soon as possible.

This post offers:

EYCA Director:
• Supports the elected Board and President to devise strategy to implement the EYCA vision and mission, and to represent EYCA externally
• Develops and delivers an annual business plan to implement the strategy of the board
• Assists and supports EYCA member organisations
• Manages a team of 4 to 5 staff
• Works on positioning EYCA as an important partner for youth policy development in Europe
• Works on establishing strategic partnerships in close cooperation with Board and President

Candidates should meet the following requirements:
• Senior management experience of an established international organisation (such as NGO or inter-governmental organisation)
• Experience of working for or with a membership based association
• Experience of developing strategic plans and position statements
• Programme implementation and monitoring of budgets
• Knowledge and experience of European Funding programmes and corporate resource development
• Working with a Board
• Experience with legal affairs and contract negotiations (commercial / noncommercial)
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent English and a working knowledge of one other European language.

The following attributes are also desirable:
• A university degree in a related field.
• A good understanding of the European youth sector, including European
Institutions such as the EU, the European Commission and the Council of Europe
• highly developed communication skills and experience and ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment
• A willingness to travel – approximate 25% of working time
